Delivery Information
East Coast Fencing offers free delivery on all orders over £99. A delivery charge of £14.95 applies to all orders under £99.
Delivered by Our Own Fleet
We deliver to various residential and commercial addresses within our designated service areas, employing our own fleet of 3.5T vehicles to reach places larger vehicles may not access.
Our service regions include Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, East Sussex, Essex, Greater London, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Surrey, and West Sussex. For orders exceeding £1,000, we might extend delivery to postcodes slightly outside these areas, subject to charge and availability.
Delivery Process
All deliveries are kerbside only, meaning they will typically be placed on your front garden or driveway. Our drivers are not permitted to deliver goods into back gardens. Deliveries occur between 6.00 am and 7.00 pm, with approximate delivery time windows provided but subject to variability due to traffic conditions. Once delivery is made, responsibility for the order is transferred to the recipient.
Delivery Areas and Restrictions
To combat fraud, we do not deliver to non-residential addresses such as car parks, docks, fields, or allotments. Deliveries are available to defined regions, with potential extensions for larger orders. If your postcode is not listed, delivery may not be possible at this time. However, we continuously work on expanding our logistics capabilities and may offer services to additional areas in the future.
Collection Policy
For customers opting for order collection, it is mandatory to present photo ID and the payment card used for the transaction upon collecting goods. This is a security measure to prevent fraud. A copy of your ID will be retained for 60 days as part of our safety protocol. If payment is made in-store via card or cash, ID is not required for collection.
Important Advisory
While we maintain a high success rate for on-time deliveries, unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather or logistical issues may occasionally affect our schedule. We advise customers to refrain from booking tradespeople or scheduling construction projects until their order has arrived. East Coast Fencing cannot be held liable for any losses resulting from delayed deliveries.
